Parking and Show Rules. (Important Notice)
Welcome to Accelerate 5! To make the day safe, smooth and fun for everyone, we've got a few simple rules. Don't worry, it's all easy to follow and it keeps the £1500 Golden Cam competition fair.
Vehicle Lockdown.
Gates Open: 9.00 am for all show cars
Lockdown: 12.00pm. After this time, NO CAR MOVEMENT in the show area until judging finishes.
Judging: Judging for all awards will run between 12.00pm and 2.00pm so every car gets a fair chance.
Awards: Awards will be announced at around 2.00pm.
Arriving after 12.00pm?
No problem, you can still come to the show! You may need to wait for a Marshall to safely guide you into the show area. Just note: you might miss judging for the awards if you arrive too late.
Leaving the show during judging?
Find a Northern Monkey Tuning member of staff at the gazebo, they'll escort you out and record that you've left, if you leave during judging you may be removed from award consideration.
Vehicle Parking
we split the show into two areas.
Show Cars: Any car that you're proud of, doesn't have to be a perfect Mercedes or Ferrari, this is a celebration of motoring for everyone.
Visitor Parking: Just here to enjoy the cars? Perfect. You don't need a show car to be part of the experience, just come and enjoy the petrolhead vibes.
TIP: Arrive early if you want to enjoy the full experience, the best cars and the Golden Cam Winner get all the glory.
General Rules.
MUSIC AND AUDIO: Cars with booming audio systems are welcome, but please don't play them in the show area. it disrupts the live music and other guests.
ENGINE REVVING: A little is fine, we love the noise and energy but excessive revving can cause chaos, so keep it reasonable. THINK "FUN" NOT "FULL MEXICAN WAVE OF ENGINES".
Why do we do this?
We've learned from past shows that a little structure keeps the fair and the day safe, while still letting everyone enjoy the atmosphere. The focus is on FUN, CELEBRATION AND COMMUNITY all mixed in with a little bit of chaos.
